Stony Point Hall offers one free hour for ceremony rehearsal in the week leading up to your event. This allows you to practice the order in which people walk down the aisle, how they should walk, which songs should be played at what times, and any other special instructions your wedding party and officiant need to know. It is essentially dry run of your ceremony.
With our rehearsal coordination, we will be on site to facilitate everything. Our extensive knowledge smooths out all the bumps and makes the process easier.
If the day before your event is available, you may also utilize two additional free hours exclusively through our planning services to set up your decor.
Prior to the ceremony starting, we will run through the details with everyone involved and make sure everyone is where they need to be when they need to be there. As the ceremony begins, we provide direction to your wedding party on when to walk and who to walk with.
From knowing when to have your hair and makeup done to when the best man should give his speech, we coordinate it all. We provide an extensive breakdown of optimal times for each aspect of your wedding and make sure we adhere to the timeline day-of. This ensures we have ample time for everything and can also adjust or modify the timeline on the fly as needed.
With our timeline in hand, we make sure all the little events during your wedding happen. As the day evolves, small adjustments may be needed to keep you and your guests entertained. Our experience allows us to recognize and take action when this occurs.
As your vendors arrive we direct them on all aspects. Such as where to set up, when they should be done setting up, and provide their individualized timeline of events for the evening. Additionally, we make sure they adhere to the timeline and provide them with any assistance they may need to complete their tasks.
Serving wine and forgot a corkscrew/bottle opener? Did your hairdresser not bring a blow dryer? Did a bridesmaid prick her finger and need a band-aid? Our emergency kit covers a large variety of oopsy-daisies to give you peace of mind.
We will meet with you in advance to go over your table and venue decorations. When the time comes to start decorating, we will assist you in coordinating your group. We are available to answer all questions and provide an extra hand.

At the end of a long day, you will want to relax and enjoy the time with your significant other. You can do just that with our wedding planning. At the end of the evening we take care of all the details including: taking trash off tables, putting trash in the dumpster, taking down all of your decor, packing your decor into designated boxes, and gathering it all in a centralized place for pick up.
Please allow up to 24 hours after your event for pick up of your decor items.
Our event insurance covers: Bodily Injury, 3rd Party Property Damage, and Medical Coverage.
How it Works
4 Months Prior to Wedding Date: Collect vendor information which we will then use to contact vendors and arrange an initial timeline.
90 Days Prior to Wedding Date: Email or phone call to arrange the rehearsal date/location and decoration time/day with Stony Point Hall.
45 days Prior to Wedding Date: Meeting to discuss room layout, any rentals or linens with Stony Point Hall, review timeline, and décor choices. Inclusive: Set up Event Insurance.
2 weeks Prior to Wedding Date: Confirm final timelines with vendors and email a finalized timeline.
1 Week Prior to Wedding Date: Confirm rehearsal dinner location/time and decoration date/time.
Day Before: Manage the wedding rehearsal with the officiant/DJ and the rehearsal dinner. If arranged, manage decoration setup.
Day of: Meet with Vendors and report with pictures, manage ceremony, manage reception. Inclusive Package: Tear down and pack up decorations, full clean up of event venue, arrange time for décor pick-up.

Will you operate our music for the ceremony?
You will need to provide a DJ or someone to operate the music for your ceremony.
Do you make announcements for guests?
We will coordinate your DJ or audio technician to make all announcements for your guests such as: when to be seated for the ceremony or dinner and when an event is about to happen.
Where can I pick up my decor?
We will pack all of your decor in the original box if available. We will arrange all of your decor items in a centralized location – either by the staff door in the back or in the entryway at the front of the building.
What about wedding gifts?
For security, we request that you take all gifts and wedding cards with you at the end of your event.
Do you handle tips for Vendors?
Yes. You may supply us with an amount for each vendor and we will ensure they receive it before they leave.
